Winter is a slow heartbeat, an aged murmur of lifelong love. — Angie Weiland-Crosby

As for my final project of the photography class I decided on capturing the beauty of nature in one of the most natural states: sleeping. As not only commonly known in the world of fauna, where animals are hibernating, also the botanical world is getting some rest by holding sleep in winter. Especially in colder areas plants are often covered up with ice or snow. Watching the nature rest in Austria, where cold temperatures make sure for a good sleep, it is frost, a thin layer of ice, that blankets the natural beauties until the sun comes out.
